Thanks for the feedback. At the last coinshow a respected dealer actually looked over my gold piece and said it was authentic (thank god). I do have my doubts, however, about my 2 over 1 merc dime. There is no doubt that it is an overstrike, but it doesn't exactly look like the example in redbook. In the example in redbook, the 1 is a little more down and to the left, were as my is directly in line with the left side of the two, and then proceeds downward below the 2 for a few millimeters. I am going to have a dealer in my town take a look at it, because I heard that there were a lot of counterfeit 2 over 1's made in the 50's. I looked at it closely with my 60-100x and just wasn't for sure if it is legit.

Hopefully, by the time anybody sees this, my creepy breathing (I swear I'm relatively healthy right now) has been replaced by the Christmas music. That's a good chunk of my bullion and all my slabs. Have more bullion (About $30 face silver) at home along with my collection, which I'll film and upload tomorrow.

In order; Silver dollars, T2 ikes, slabs, 90% silver halves, buff and vnicks, war nicks, silver dimes.

 

First off, totally jealous of the mercs! Second, is that box with the silver and buffs in rolls all from your roll searching?

MAN! I gotta get some money to my name so I can start doing some heavy searching. Might I ask how many WL/Franklins you have found so far? As well as Mercs?

86 '64 Kennedys.
741 40% silver halves. Most sold to finance the purchases of slabbed coins. Still have $170.50 face, going to sell that ASAP.
14 silver Washies. (I don't search quarters much)
78 Mercs.
540 Roosies.

 

The sooner you grasp this, the better.
