IMO rockdude has nailed it. If it was ejection doubling it would be on only on one side of the letters, Look at the A in America , it looks like this on both sides. this usually mrans it is from worn dies and what we call die detoration doubling. I know I'm going to get my butt kicked for mentioning ejection doubling but I love a little excitement every now and then. EDIT: If I get in trouble it was Kasia's fault for causing it. LOL

Are you just patronizing him? ... I still think it's simple MD. Doesn't show the same characterists that coins with die deterioration show, IMO. But like I've said in the past and will continue to say well into the future; I'm not an expert. Either way, it's not doubling that will command a premium... -Brian

The shelving is all around some letters. I don't think that can happen with MD, because the force can't really go in multiple directions at once.
I think it's just a reflection on the left sides of the letters. It's machine doubling. Even if it was DDD, it's still only worth 10 cents.
I agree with it being worth little, but I don't think it's a reflection. It shows pretty clearly and consistently on some parts, as does the shelving on the right side and top parts of letters.
