the better photos are on another thread. I'll try to retrieve them and add them here .enjoy the photos rockdude.
Here are enlarged versions of the coin he started this thread with. I sharpened and brightened the first (obverse) to show the effect better, as well as re-sizing it. The reverse ones are crops but are only turned and re-sized; no modifications other than that.
You are correct , some of us got off topic and started talking about this ICG coin. looks like kasia has helped me with the right photos . thanks Kasia
Rascal, Have a very merry Christmas. And don't tell anyone I told you that!!!!!! Or Santa will send his cat over to your house!
Thanks Kasia and I also wish you a verry merry CHristmas and a happy New Year , I won't tell anyone and it can be our little secret.
Now Kasia that is a beautiful lump of coal. I bet any lady would like one like that . I used to work underground in the coal mines but was never lucky enough to find one like in your photo. Me and my oldest son did find a few tiny ones down in hot springs Arkansas and we almost got roasted over the old volcano area. If I ever go back looking again it will be in the late fall or winter.
