Cazkaboom One for all, all for me.

Hey, like I said, You were not the person I was assigned to send to, you were somebody (out of 5 others) that I sent something to along with the person I had assigned to me. If you don't want it, feel free to send it back, I am sure I know some people would want it. Or better yet, Spend it so the roll searchers can find it and keep them. Please, don't rain on other's parades, It is supposed to be an addition to the gift you will already be receiving, which by the way, is estimated to arrive friday from your REAL Secret Santa. If you think you are insulted, I was trying to do something nice for people, and get shot down with pure disrespect. I'm sorry I can't afford to send $15+ to 6 different, not counting the other 3 who I gifted that aren't participating. I guess something from a broke teenager means nothing, from a teenager that gives what little money he makes to his family and others. I will be glad to not let you participate next time, or any time I set up another exchange.

I spent a lot of time at Jay's Shoulder Room in Cherry Hill drinking Schmit's ? beer, don't remember how to spell it. Wonderful state NJ is once you get past New York.

To Caz, I really do thank you for organizing this Secret Santa. I got mine, but will not open until Christmas, patience comes with age!

I didn't know we were posting private PM's now on the forums. I sent that message to you privately, since I didn't want to call you out on the forums.

Whatever, go ahead and show your true colors here for all to see man. If anyone thinks I was over the line, please feel free to read the private message I wrote to dctjr80 he posted here.

Well, if you had included a note explaining this is just a kind little addition to the Secret Santa it would have saved my initial confusion/reaction. There was never any mention of any addition to the whole Secret Santa. I never shot you down, nor disrespected you in anyway. It was a very nice gesture, but one that if easily misconstrued in light of the current event could be received as offensive. Thanks for the addition and I do think a Secret Santa is a great and fun idea you came up with and orchestrated here.

And what is my true color? all you have proven is that you and a *few* other members are very rude, ignorant, and by your own admission "I shouldn't be sticking my nose in" intrusive/manipulative. (I guess by your own irrational judgment of others you show your "true colors")

make that 4 mate the lad was only trying to spread a little good will and happiness, i think your response was well out of order and you should apollogise to him. i take part because i want to join in, not for what i get in return....................................

I guess since you don't seem to realize that many more than 3 may have been offended, but chose not to say anything, that I will also publicly say that you were out of line. The fun in these events is in the giving, not the receiving. I, like many on here, can't afford to be overly generous, but I give what I can believing that it will be appreciated by the recipient. When someone posts a response like yours, it makes these people not want to join in, out of fear of being called out like you did. Just because you got coins you deemed were beneath you, doesn't make the giver any less gracious for giving what they are able. As it turns out, it was a misunderstanding anyway, albeit from good intentions.

Thanks Caz. Even if I get nothing, this has been an enjoyable distraction from a terrible year.

here here my friend, this has been a great distraction from the gloom, i joined in last year and even joined the one after new year, i received some coins i didn't need but they were well received as much as the superb ones. in england we have a saying "it's not the winning, it's the taking part that counts".................thanks caz for keeping alive the coin talk traditions.

i have specially ordered a gift for my recipient because i want it to be so.................

Wow, I thought it was the gift of giving, not necessarily receiving. Hey dctjr80, want me to send you a coin worth at minimum $15 just to make you happy already? Perhaps I'll just send you $15 so you can go buy your own. Stop being a scrooge I say, there's more important things to worry about in life than what you got in a Secret Santa exchange.

Jeez guy- why not just chill out and get off the computer for a bit? I never asked for an apology, and dont even want one from you-lol. Do us all a favor and just stop posting in this thread. The general consensus is you come off sounding rude.... I would have thought you got a lump of coal in the mail from all the whining you do.:so-sad:

I thought this Secret Santa was (and STILL IS!!) a great idea, and I'd like to applaud Caz for the hard work they put into organising it for our benefit. It is definitely appreciated by the vast majority ... and some (like my compatriot moneyer) have taken the trouble to special order for their recipient - a class act!

Alright - everybody - COOL IT ! Enough is enough for God sakes !

Forget about it, let it go, drop it - whichever you prefer. But let there be an end to it or I will put an end to it. And nobody will like that !

Now then - Merry Christmas !

Thank you secret santa! Love the 1991 Proof Set, as well as the Buffalo Nickels! Much appreciated, and a Merry Christmas to you as well. ( I would like to note that these coins came nicely wrapped along with a letter!) What Christmas spirit. Also want to give a big thanks to Tyler G, yet another CT member who sent wonderful gifts!! Will return the favor =[]
