1804 Dollar Whiskey Bottle...Sealed.

    Hey gang!

    I always say that you never know what is going to walk in my store. This walked in the shop today. The bottom of the bottle is dated 1969 and it's still sealed and full.... Looks like our coin shop Christmas party just got a little more interesting ;)

    I wouldn't suggest opening that. It would be like throwing paper money in the fireplace.

    Yeah... we will probably leave it sealed. I owe a couple of coin dealers favors... maybe I'll use it cash in one of those ;).

    Haha I had one like that but the bottle was empty. Sadly it got thrown away without me knowing when my dad moved :(

    Not directly related, nor am I trying to steal the thread, just want to show what I got yesterday at coin club, a nice piece in my opinion:

    Note, the silver morgan is not silver, it is a plated brass counterfeit. I just used it as size representation.
