I think Rascal relies on his excuses "I'm the world's worst photographer", "Oh, It's in a holder, and I sure won't take it out to photograph it better", "You can't tell by my bad photos, if you had it in hand you would see it's exactly like I said" "you people sound interested in errors, but you better go to the internet and learn" and "I'll school everyone", and on and on. But he won't go through with sending it in to experts, because if he does, it's likely to get shot down as PMD and then he doesn't have his excuses to roll out.

Much more comfortable being in a position where he still thinks that he's being authoritative and awesome.

Now, he expects us to let his posts alone if we don't agree with his opinions of his coin and himself, as if it's his own little corner of the world and much better than actually going through with starting his own forum or something. Cheaper, too.

Well, when he gets his own forum to run, he can make all the rules he wants.

Cazkaboom One for all, all for me.

Rascal, I have read all five threads on your die clashes, and I can say, this one looks legitimate to me. The other one, in my opinion is not, please don't even try to shoot it down, because my opinion is a rock. Not that I know errors, but I would stay away from it for sure. I believe you on this one, the other looks like a vise job to me. I just can't see the deepest parts of the die being on the other die without practically the whole coin mutilated on both sides. But I do have to give you props, this one seems to be a good shot as genuine, is it slabbed?

Mike I don't blame you or anyone else for calling that ICG slabbed coin a hammer job. If anyone wants to they can go back and read my thread before I won the bid for it. I was also totally convinced it was a hammer job or squeeze job until I received it from the mail. everything I told you in my email is the truth about the coin. Troy

no this coin is not slabbed and would probably not be worth the price of slabbing it. I have two of these that came from the same pair of dies.

I've witnessed you do this very thing in the past. It seems to me that the only thing standing in the way of the ole rascal is his fear of you not agreeing with him after an in hand assessment and the resulting smack on his credibility.

At this point in time, the only possible way to salvage any remnant of credibility is to have you examine the coin.

If its not a valid error then great again. (Another lesson learned)

Honestly, I think that would not work at all for me. I don't really want to run off "bad" folk. 'sides, I think this forum has rules enough about keeping things clean. And as far as trying to down anyone, aside from simply sliding close to the edge on that, this forum also has rules about that. And, I happen to think some of the "down" you are feeling from others is simply that they don't share your opinion on your coin, and have the audacity to say so.

Darn it now I will have to find someone else to help me. Kasia I have told you numerous times it does not matter to me what someone on this forum says about any of my coins. What folks says on here is only opinions and you know the old saying "a opinion is as worthless as a ____ _______ " whatever is said on here has no way whatsover of hurting or increasing the value of a coin. surely you can become to learn that. I'm not on here to try to hurt anyone and I will go totally out of my way to help anyone I can here in my neighborhood or anywhere else. When you folks learn who I am you will know that what I say is the truth. If I ever tell a lie it would have to be about something I don't know about and in this case I just try to keep my mouth closed. If you or anyone else ever needs help with anything regardless of what it is just PM me and I'll help you or anyone else in any way humanly possible. I don't hold a grudge against anyone because of what they may say or do.

I don't mind rascal. BTW, it is a 1983 Lincoln cent.

It amazes me how many "collectors" lack respect on the threads you have posted.
Not that I am all in there with you in your explanations made towards your errors but I think you do make some points. I thought members would go more towards agree to disagree and move on.

Why would people want certain posts/threads to be removed? Perhaps because they know a little "too much"?

In case you like die clashed Lincolns, here is another (with horrible pics and recently sold).

Why don't you accept what you have done and move on, rather than to litter this forum with "I'm right, you're wrong" stuff that everyone is sick of hearing. You can go ahead and start your own forum, but I'm not joining it. It'll be really quiet there!

Thanks Riggo I was a little worried that you may be mad at me for showing your coin on here after I did it. I'm thankful you are not like some others I try to deal with . I know some folks feels bad but we all do after we get up in the years and this still should not give us the right to jump on others for no reason at all. since your coin is a 83 coin this is even older than my 88 coin . so a certain person's explanation that this usually just occurs on the 2000 and newer cents because of a lower die design just went out the back door.

Riggo that ICG 88 cent I have everyone that has looked at it in hand agrees with me that it is not a hammer or squeeze job because of many obvious reasons. For now I'm going with their opinion and ICG's opinion and leaving the coin in the slab.

I think the reason so many unusal coins are being found is the fact that more folks are searching for them. Troy W

Thanks for sharing these photos . I sure do like that coin . It even looks like it may have had some counter clash marks of Lincoln's nose on the obv. side or I'm just seeing things. Troy
