No pmd here , i told you so

Now for all of you non believers that called me the bad names over this coin and declared it as PMD and worthless , you can start believing . I already had a strong gut feeling this was a real mint error and I told you all so. Now it has been confirmed by IMO the best error person still alive, I do know he has been at it longer than me . in this case I think the die cap when it came loose from the die it was acting somewhat like a coin die and moving between strikes. some of the small fragments from the die cap is still retained in this coin and may have confused some of you.

Sorry hobo , PER MODERATOR RULES I have been informed to stop putting any one's name on any of my posts and others were warned also. even if I told his name folks would not believe me anyway. I will put it this this way , he is one the best known in the business and one of the most recognised by the third party grading companies.

 

As Per Moderator Rules? I don't know of any rule on this forum that restricts naming experts......

 

Rascal it's not against the rules here to name your sources... actually we encourage it.

 

I also support sending in the coin to NGC etc. Of course, while this is your choice, if the error is genuine then the value will increase hundred-fold and stop any unnecessary discussions (arguments.)

 

Please waste your money and send in for an error slab. Stop arguing, get off the computer, and send that POS in already!

 

Sorry , I'm leaving the experts name out of this because I do not want him downed on this forum like I have been done . If folks do not want to believe a error experts decision then what good is it going to do any of us to collect any kind of coins? We might as well to just call them PMD and throw them in the trash .

 

this coin will be slabbed by NGC soon as it get's back to me . This is about the only way any grading company will certify any error coin that is not a common one is for it to reach them with a error experts letter. This is the way I do for all of my unusal error coins.as far as the unnecessary discussions no one has to reply to this thread unless they want to. I just showed the coin again to give the follow up on it.

 

what I find funny, is that we all know what it is and some of you guys let rascal get the best of you. Let's do this forum a favor and ignore this thread and others like this. We want to learn, we are not here to belittle, muse, or prove people wrong..let this be. Rascal post the coin once it/if it comes back slabbed

As a collector who is not into errors is this how rare or unique errors are graded then by third companies? It just seems odd for NGC to accept an coin as genuine with a letter from one "expert" opinion...

 

any expert who's appraisal is worth its weight in toilet paper would be happy to have you post his name. Its called free advertizing and if he is as big a name as you say then the [eople on this forum would probably accept his opinion as soon as it was shown to be authentic.

To start a follow-up thread regarding the authenticity of some specific coin/error yet refuse to name the expert that has proclaimed the error as authentic is just a bit childish.

At some point, this little rascal is going to have to grow up.
