Gorgeous coin!... But I see no blue. Perhaps I'm colorblind and didn't realize until this very moment. -Brian
It my worn out camera that won't pickup the blue tones.why??? adjustment or lighting, no sure what one.but a new camera would help :thumb:
The sun has a fairly full spectrum of light, but most of our attempts to copy the sun (i.e.lights) do not. It is entirely possible that the blue you see is missing from the spectrum. However, the best answer I can give is that if you do not see the blue (LCD or view finder) on the camera, it will not be in the picture either.
Todd at BluCC Photos just shot this Type 1 SLQ for me. This coin just looks old and full of character, like it could tell stories about what it's seen.
Now that's a BUDDY!!! I also hope it cheers you up. It's not all Happy Holidays for a lot of people. Cheer up & God bless. Terri
:thumb:Wow!!! were get some real gem toned coins.:thumb: can't wait to see what Santa will bring us???
Thanks! Yes, it's a sideline. I shoot for several dealers and, of course, I image my own coins. I've played with axial lighting and it's only useful for some really narrow applications like colorful proofs. And it's a huge pain. Diffused lighting is a better alternative, IMO. Lance.
