The closest thing I have to a rainbow Peace dollar

    Nice coin, look original to me. I used to buy rolls of these that looked like that. IMO, it was about the 2nd or 3rd coin in from the end. The very center coins usually were white except for edges, and the ends had one side with extreme toning, many times black and damaging the coin. The color of the interior coins depends on how well the roll was wrapped in the bank.

    Thats nicely toned. Collectors of toned coins usually pay a premium for those.

    That is a great find for $25!

    I found this Peace Dollar on eBay 2 months ago, also for $25, and it went to NGC and got a 64 (hoping for a 65).

    Good deals can be found!
