1970 S Proof - Small Date With Struck Thru Error

    I thought this was a scratch at first but it appears to have been caused by a piece of wire? Wasn't retained.

    No, still in the set. I contemplated breaking it out but I wasn't sure how much value it had.

    The strike through is so small, I believe it adds little if any value to the coin. It's actually more of a nuisance than an error.
