YAA BABY! Just received confirmation, My Token is headed Home! Fedex claims that it is in great condition, (but Fedex does not grade coins) It was found in the sealed container of damaged packages!
I will keep my fingers crossed!
I can allways count on Crown Royal therapy, Works every time !
:hail:I will post a pic as soon as I can.
    Let's pray it arrives safe.
Hummm, how many more miles and states will this coin have on it?
    :hail:Thanks everyone.

Conder - You are absolutely correct. Fedex just told me that they do not insure Antiques and collectables.
I was not aware of that.
    Be carefull folks.
ANACS is self insured, so it is covered by ANACS.
I sent it registered mail w/ 3,000 $ on it. It took 10 days to get from Central NY to Co but it is the safest mode!
I am so happy I think I need some Crown Royal again! (just kiding)

That is great news. It would be a shame for a rare and interesting item such as this token to be destroyed.

Wow! This thread was a good read. I am glad to see that your coin survived such an unfortunate turn of events. If only this coin could talk and tell the story of how it ended up in the water in the first place! I enjoyed the story and learned a bit about counter strikes as well. This coin could be the definition of a conversation piece. This is one that I would never get rid of, if I were you. Congrats on getting it back!

I have documented every person, that I have spoke with. Including the date and time ! I have about 12 pages of a story that I am writting. I even have the zip lock plastic bag with the paper work in it that smells like a bon fire.
I am missing a few parts - how it got from the accident scene to Utah for identifing. I know it went by ground, but I want to know how many states it went through and transfers.
It is difficult to get this information from Fedex but I will be persistant.
To top it off, I am off work on Fridays and I was wading in the water metal detecting. When I got to my vehicle, a message from Fedex was on my cell letting me know that my coin was found and getting returned. I was at the same place where I found the coin!
I was hopeing I would get it back on Dec 6th - My birthday. :) Close enough

Cazkaboom One for all, all for me.

Might I make a suggestion with taking pictures of the coin?
Put a paper towel over the flash, it gives more detail and a lot less glare.
