    2 boxes of halves
    1st box: 4 x 40%, 1 x 90%, 2 x NIFC, scratched 1974-D DDO so threw it back, 2001-s Proof tossed back too
    2nd box: 1 x 40%, 1 x NIFC, 2 x 1974-D DDO (I think that makes 16 Keepers so far) and a 1936-s Wlking Liberty! My first.
Makes ~$225 in silver value in 1 month's time. In another time and place that woulda been RENT.

Went to the bank for dimes, was told somebody cashed in $100 halves, so I bought them, turns out, I am eating where somebody else is dumping.

I bought a box of halves for the first time in a while, and it was a skunk. The only interesting coins were a gold-plated 2007-D which had a Barack Obama sticker on it (probably sold it in late 2008 or early 2009 as a gimmick), and a silver-plated Bicentennial half. What's interesting is when I was dumping the halves into a coin counter, it was supposed to be a $500 total, but somehow, after the teller changed the bags out of the machine and removed halves from the sorting mechanism, the final count was $502. As the Monopoly card says, "Bank error in your favor."

Also, from a bunch of dollar coins, one of them was a 2006-P Sacagawea. The NIFC Sackies seem to be coming my way a lot lately. It makes me want to do a set of 2000-2008's to go with my Native American set.

    Great find, Moon.

Had a couple nice dime boxes today, best score I've had since that bag I got with 60 silvers in it. It's also my best dime score of the year... two boxes, 6 roosies and a '65 Canadian in one, and 9 roosies in the other. I am one very happy dime searcher tonight. Going back there early tomorrow to see how many more boxes of dimes they'll let me buy.

Red dots next to them in the rolls so you can spot 'em easier...

Thanks man, this is my first good dime find in a LONG time. Going on a road trip tomorrow, hopefully this is just a preview.

Got two boxes of nickels to do now, from the same bank.

Two boxes of nickels, first gave up a '29 Buff in VF, and a 19XX basal state V-Nick. Second gave up two wars. Also got a proof out of each box. Good things come in twos?

Looks like my luck is turning! Opened my box of dimes from last night and scored 4 roosies ('61 x 2, '62 and '64) and five canadian dimes!

The $110 in CWR halves wasn't as kind. I figured they were a dump and they ended up being a skunk.

I have another box of dimes and will try to get at least one more box of dimes and a box of quarters. This will make up for my normal Friday order of four halve boxes that didn't get ordered.

So I guess my question is: What do you do with the silver you find? Do you guys sell it, or hoard it? I have only found 1 silver roosie, but am trying to find the best thing to do when I find more silver.

Box 2 of halves I picked up yesterday was a skunk.
Last 6 boxes have produced 1 X Walking Liberty
I'm going to try and find a different order bank and see if that will turn my luck around on these boxes. They are not worth tying all of my money up in them.

I pretty new, but my story is I started buying bullion. Found out you can get some Free silver roll searching, which has lead to me starting to develope numismatic interests.

so my intent is to be a hoarder! I have told myself that If I find anything with numismatic value I would sell and convert to bullion. My thought had been that when hard times hit collector value will go away as people won't have money for collecting.

That said, when i search halves i pull all the toned coins (even clad) and plan on starting a toned book. I recently bought an amazingly toned ASE off the bay last week for $37...something tells me the collector in me is itching to come out!
