1928 buffalo nickle

    28 nickle somone put into a holder and mounted to a money clip was given to me awhile back. got a wild hair pulled it apart to see if i could actually see the back of the coin and i could. is there any value here? SAM_0174 (800x600).jpg SAM_0176 (800x600).jpg SAM_0180 (600x800).jpg

    It's a neat piece of exonumia. Don't bother removing the coin from its mount. The time it would take to pry it out is worth more than the coin itself (which is only a buck or two). :)

    Yep... not much value there. If it was mine, I would put the assembly in a 2x2 and see if I could get a buck for it at the local flea market. I usually sell dateless buffs three for dollar, and the common dates (VG or less) for seventy-five cents to a dollar.
