I went hiking this past weekend and the night before I got the idea to take a good looking Morgan up to the top with me and get a nice photo of it with the view in the background. I did take a few pictures when I got the the top, but it was very cold so I didn't stay up there for more than a minute. The unfortunate part was once I left the parking lot for the trail head I realized I had forgot about the Morgan! I was planning on posting the pic on here so everyone could see a nice coin where you normally wouldn't.
Here's a picture from the top anyways, just imagine a Morgan being there ;) haha.

Sure, losing a Morgan sucks, but you might just get a new person into the hobby :D.

    Very nice!
I'm having a hard time imagining the coin, though. I'm just thinking how cold you must have been.

Reach the peak, grab a drink and head back down.

    Where are we up here?

Coming from someone who has never really had a chance to venture into a mountainous landscape, I'm jealous.

I didn't mean I left the morgan at the top, I meant I forgot to take a picture of it.

Fox - This is from the top of Mt. Liberty in the White Mountains

Maybe we could start a 4000 foot coin club.
A picture on the top of every 4000 footer with a different coin!

My daughter on Liberty in a warmer month.

Ummm That would mean that every photo I take of currency and coins in my house qualifies for the 4000 foot club, since I live at 6300 above sea level LOL.

A little less Morgan please. (Yes I know, heresy.) You've covered up so much of the view you have defeated the purpose of the photo.

Would have been nice to hang out up there and just take in the view.

I bet coins look a lot better up on a mountain top being closer to the sun and what not. I wonder if you took a highly reflective coin up there if you could start a fire... :p jk

I think that's a merit badge in boy scouts. Fire starting with DMPL Morgans.
