Man I sure do love them Minneapolis notes! I also really like that signature. I have yet to get one in my collection - they are all just so darn expensive! Thanks for sharing, Clay! -tbud
Nice 1934 Minneapolis $100 Clay. I've been lax on my collection lately as I decide whether to go for a $500 note, but your newest additions get me thinking about buying more notes.
I received a 1928 B $10 FRN LGS Minneapolis and a set of 50 1976 $2 FRN First Day of Issue with all 50 State Flag Bicentennial Stamps (only the first three are displayed in the image).
WHOOPS! I mis-labeled the $10 FRN — I've been working on a 1934 $10 district set and 1934 got stuck in my head. The note is actually a 1928 B FRN LGS FR-2002I | KL-2018
I like knowing people at the bank They put these aside for me and I got them for face. I have never had an older 100 before, and these seem to be worth quite a bit over face.
$63 Face in older bills from another member. I don't usually collect paper money, but I figured I would just put these away. A 1963B Barr note I received in change a few weeks ago.
Thanks Dr. The rarer of the 2 is actually the one in better shape, which is good! For the age I think they look to be XF (but then again I just started to read up on how to grade and all is still new to me so just a guess, but I think it's a good one) and nice green eagle ron. I will have one of those along with a battleship one day. I might honestly go down to the coin shop over by here that sells paper money as well and try to trade for a battleship note and some cash or one of the green eagles. The larger sized notes are what I prefer the most for some reason, although I do like all older notes. Just something about them makes them interesting. I like history a lot also so that's another reason why.
oh and at my work we never deal with cash unless someone pays 10 bucks to use our scale to weigh their trucks. I always look just for the heck of it (the people at work think I'm nuts) and I found this. I showed it off and said look I found a radar note! They said who cares! I said hey that's why some people can make a quick few bucks off one bill when they know what they are looking for, although this is probably worth nothing since it is very well used.
These just came in the mail today. Check the 'S' mm for the 79, it should be a clear 'S'. I need your opinions
i picked up a couple low run stars from circulation this morning. this five is from a 640k run. and this single is from a 640k run. neither is in great shape, but they were available for the right price.
It's not a radar, but it is a nice find. It's just a repeater, hard to find in general but they are out there.
