Thanks. It's the district I picked and enjoy trying to learn a little about as I go.

Just for fun, here is what I have for H8 district:
    2009 $1 H34100131A - just a fun serial number. Circ find
    2009 $1 H34111434A - AU trinary. Circ find.
2009 $1 HA - CHCU part of my 2009 $1 DS set. Circ find.
    (3) 1999 $1 H*. XF purchased @ face.
    1993 $1 HA. Circ find.
    (2) 1988A $1 HC and HF. Circ finds.
    1985 $1 HC. Circ find.
1976 $2 HA minor error ink upshift with 2 consecutives (the consecutives aren't errors). Circ finds.
    1995 $10 H* CHCU. Purchased.
    1990 $20 H* AU. Purchased.
1929 $20 HA National Currency FRBN. Purchased.
1990 $100 H00355171A possible error note. I have asked about it in several threads on here and I don't know who else to ask about it... It has a strike across the face that I remember seeing in an error note book but I haven't seen that same book with that same error note listed in years...

That's all I have. H8 district would definetely be on the scarcer side of my collection along with J, D, and I.

Very nice list there! And with some good looking fancy SNs too!

As for who else to ask about the 1990 $100, I suggest the same approach I was giving the OP of that other thread we have been discussing about puzzling error notes.

Thank you for your kind comments. :) I'm at the dispense of an uncirculated '09 $1 HA if you want, at face of course. The only problem is, I am limited to how much consecutives you would want because they are getting broke and mixed in circulations SO FAST and lately I've only been able to find 2 or 3 consecutives other than that I can't get you so many consecutives... Feel free to PM me if at all interested. @ face would include regular $ or star notes you don't want for trade.

S.C.'s and Red Seals wouldn't be part of the Federal Reserve, would they??

@tbud: Thanks for the offer. I will go back through my lists to see what I have/don't have for Series 2009.:thumb:

@Clay: Thanks, Clay. You make me drool with your notes! Excellent display as always you have to share with us. :smile

@clay It was still awesome to see such beautiful Red seals and SC's anyways so no harm done there, Clay!:D
@ krispy I als have lots of L blocks to offer and at the moment plenty of DA's and GD's... I just can't find any that are more than 3 consecutive at a time which is what I'm after right now! I'm sure I'll get them soon but yeah if you were interested in 1 or 2 consecutives of any of those blocks, like I said, feel free to give me a PM.

Came up with these notes, while strap searching, today:

I know the '88A isn't one of the series covered in this thread, but oh well. I made the thread, so w/e. :D
    88a&99.jpg

Two common '01's, but I rarely see the H, or J districts.
    Two'01s.jpg

'03A ladder-type serial, and '95 Minneapolis note. Again, two series that aren't specifically covered by this thread, but I'm bending the rules.

So, yeah, not spectacular finds, but I was pretty happy with them. Don't know if they'll all be a permanent part of my collection, but I liked finding them, none-the-less.

Well that DD block SN is pretty fun looking and worth setting aside for it's fanciness, D 44432221 D, but other than that they are all too beat up methinks.

Yep. The '03A is certainly a keeper, and believe it, or not, the '99 F-R, and the '95 I-F are not to bad, so those will probably stick around, as well.

The two '01's are spenders, only because they are common notes from that series, and their condition doesn't warrant keeping them. If they were from more scarce runs, or were in better shape, maybe, but nope. Into the wallet they go.

As for the '88A, yeah, it's ratty, but I love finding '80's notes in circulation. This one I'll probably keep, just for sentimental reasons. :smile

Here is how it would go for me:
    1999 $1 FR - spender.
    1988A $1 BK - keeper.
    2001 $1 JB - keeper. (only because I need more I9 variety)
    2001 $1 HA - keeper.
    2003A $1 DD - keeper.
    1995 $1 IF - keeper. (only because I need more I9 variety)

    Thanks for the thoughts, t-bud.

I agree with you for the most part. The '99 F-R may stick around, though. It seems to be part of a 4 part run. The note I found seems to be from the first part of the run, totaling 19.2m notes.

Not low, but low enough for me considering it's in better condition, than most '99's I see.

If you are having trouble locating certain blocks and want GEM/ChCU notes, a good source and a wonderful guy to work with, also an author of his own book on FRNs, is Robert Azpaizu of First City Currency in St. Augustine, Florida. His site is a little slow to load up sometimes, but his inventory is pretty well kept and you should get on his e-newsletters so you get the latest catalogs of what he's got to offer. He's very pleasant and easy to work with. Sometimes I send him a wish list and let him have a while to get back to me with items on my list.

    Thanks Krispy.

I just perused his site, and he's got a lot of really great stuff, for very reasonable prices. I've also heard really great things about him, from a few folks in the currency world.

I'll shoot him a message, when I get an idea of some things I'd really like to have.
