Cheap-or free coins

I hear of people going to places where the got them cheap or even free. Like buffalo nickels. (I love them) With this economy and where the world is at its almost impossible! Theirs a few good souls out there who have giving me free coins (Ziggy9, Tyler, Zach24, and desertgem Thank you guys.) But i hear of people who get them free. Is there a place.

Well I can get a deteless v nickel or buffalo in change from my coin shop when I buy coins.

 

If you where to price them how much can i buy them?

My 9 year old son and I found an Indian Head cent roll searching a few months ago. Cost was one cent. Not bad for a 115 year old coin. Other than roll searching, see if any of your local coin dealers has a bargain bin. :smile TC

 

I know roll-searching. I heard of other metheds. I heard people get them conventions. (I don't know)

The coin shop I go to regularly has undated buffalo nickels for 10 cents each. They also have a junk bin. My 5 year old son goes there with me and he searches for coins in the junk bin while I'm shopping They give him 2-5 free coins each time I go there. I usually spend less than $5/trip.

 

If you can attend a show or convention that has a YN program you can get all sorts of free goodies by attending the event.

If you want free coins, search vending machines and the area around them!

 

Reach your hand on the top of the machine right in front. A lot of people put change up there for some reason!?!? I work for a company that has hundreds of vending machines.
