Looks like some definite clashing under the chin.. that should grade quite well with the pros..

I agree, the French Taj Mahal s a gorgeous coin. But I have my reservations about various countries striking coins about subjects or persons to which they have absolutely no relation. Though that would of course not leave the Cook Islands with much to strike coins about...

 

1991 Soviet 30 years of spaceflight

Now here's my absolute newest acquisition. Neither old nor rare, but I really like the design. (It may help that I'm a science fiction fan). An additional fillip is that it's one of the last coins struck by the USSR, from 1992 on Russian coins were struck by Bank Rossia.

Here's also my Pretty coin 1964 Accented hair Cameo and Ultra Cameo 1964 Proof Kennedy Silver.
With reverse of Accented hair.

 

It has some ding but I would never sell this one.

This one came with grandpa! but the guards at Ellis Island
took the 10-20 gold coins he had.
:devil: that were the NY min started with my Family.

 

I don't know if these would be considered pretty, but they're pretty cool. Both are NGC PL's separated by close to 50 years. Both are also owned by physics-fan3.14
