Here is the Obverse of 2011 W MS 70 and the Obverse of the 2011 W PF 69 Ultra Cameo.

There were several pictures that I could not up-load, and the reverse of these two were in that group.

Interesting rotation, as discussed on earlier posts. Is this indicative of the entire RP lot?

I'm waiting to open my box so I haven't seen my coins yet.

MrMoJoeRizin, What a great eye you have. That's why you guys are called experts
I never noticed the rotation until you mention it. It is quite noticable on the 2011-P
Reverse Proof. You will have to get more feed-back from others who have this set.

    Thank you for the input.

Checked my RP, I noticed a rotation but only of a tiny amount, maybe 2-3 degrees

Okay. I've seen two other posts in the 25th ASE order thread where two seperate people claimed a rotation on their reverse proof. Mohave clearly displays the rotation in his photo. You mention a slight rotation. I'm guessing you already saw Mojave's photo. I just went onto Ebay. Of the slabbed RP which had photos of obverse and reverse, the photo's I examined didn't appear to have any rotation on the RP. I have not yet opened my set.

First, if the reverse proof have a double strike, how can what appears to be rotations of different magnatudes exist? If the die or blank is rotating some how during press, wouldn't the double strike cause the appearance of two seperate images?

I'm thinking of starting another thread to discuss this matter. I can understand if all 100,000 RP have the same exact rotation, but why the difference between each coin examples??? Some appear to have it, others do not.

    Any thoughts on this?

MojaveDave ~ I'm thinking about starting a new thread regarding the rotation of the 2011 RP. I'd like to know if I can have permission to use your photo as an example?

As an alternative, perhaps you could start the thread since I've never done one before. Your thoughts?

    Hi ! MrMojoerizin,

You certainly have my permission to post or use the photo. I think that you would be more in tune to start a thread on this, as I am only a collector, not an analyst. I think that everyone on CT would be most interested and like to learn more about the rotation. I wonder why PCG didn't pick up on this ?

You've got to pay them "to pick up on this" Dave........:)

HA! LOL. (Are you really serious, Green?)

To Dave: I already started the post on the rotation earlier today but it doesn't seem to be of interest to anyone. I have to explain, I'm just a collector, and not a very good one at that. This just caught my eye, and two other people alluded to it under the order thread. I believe three people I know of, including yourself might have the rotation version, but nobody seems to want to pick up on this in the thread I started. I'm thinking I should have started the thread under "errors" and not under the general coin forum. I'll give it another try tomorrow. I'll post your pictures as examples and see where it goes.

    Thank you.
