Hi All. I am new, this is my first post. I started collecting coins not too long ago, and am a sincere novice. I've been reading alot, but was curious to gain your thoughts and expertise on this coin I have. I know this is an 1907 Indian Head. Is this coin any specific attribution? Please advise, and thanks for your time. Thoughts as to grade and attribution, if any? Thank you.
Welcome to CT! Is there something in particular you are seeing that makes you think it may be an error? Nice coin for sure. I would grade it MS62. Looks like you scanned the coin. A photograph might show me some better luster. It also appears to have some verdigris on the obverse.
Thanks for the quick replies. There are some "lint flakes", like dust or something when I scanned. When I take pictures, the detail sucks, although the coin is much more lustrous than the scan shows. Here is a close up. (edit) I believe you must click on the picture three times to view close-up.
Well, I thought it was a doubling on the date...but I am probably seeing things. Now that all you professionals ask me "what I am seeing" I question myself, which is good. So anyways, on to the next coin~and thanks for all your help. Cheers.
It would make it easier for members by asking a specific question eg. "do you see doubling on the date?" Sometimes my psychic powers are a little weak.
