Oh, certainly no reason to apologize at all.. I can't say I blame you what so ever for changing the price, especially with an almost complete set of 70's... It will be a great set for whom ever is awarded it... and still a terrific gesture on your part!!

After getting blisters hitting the redial button on the land line, and my cell phone (if I had a dime for every time the recording asked me to 'take their CS survey', then got a busy signal, I could pay for the set). On top of that, my computers (laptop AND desktop) were timing out so many times (every time till 5:20pm(, I thought they were going to freeze permanently. My order is on the VERY 'front line' of this 'war', and I'm hoping I don't get it cancelled (no notification of cancellation yet), after AL that work (took the day off from classes, started at 12:000 high.....5 hours, and nothing but busy signals, frozen screens,, also used IE AND Google Chrome...neither did better than the other, though I heard Chrome users had a little easier time getting in). Just so frustrating to waste all that time, and more than likely get nothing.

It's a great thing you are doing for us por unfortunates. I simply wanted ONE LOUSY SET to oogle at, and put away.

what was your order # if you don't mind my asking? I'm curious because my number is 38394xxx and if yours is close than maybe I have some hope!

 

I'd still like to remain in the drawing. I was not able to get a set, and everything that grade on ebay is thru the roof.

 

What if I did manage to get 5 sets but sold them all at a handsome profit but forgot to keep one for myself and I am a collector with a bad short-term memory? Does that still count?

"in stock and reserved" 11/22/11

Well, my order #383813XX went to "in stock and reserved" today. Looks like I might have a set on the way from the Mint afterall. I'm confident my order will be fullfilled so I'm respectfully withdrawing from your awesome contest. Thank you for your consideration.

On another note, with the potential of so many graded coins coming in at MS70 (and rightly so, they are brand new from the Mint afterall) I'm wondering what that will do to the price of graded sets being offered in the aftermarket?
