Chinese coin, please help ID

    This is the coin. I have no idea if it is real or a copy, but if it is real, can you please give me some details?

    Looks to me like a modern copy.

    I agree. Why we are saying it looks like a copy is how the letters are molding into the fields. Look at LS8driver's example. See how the characters are sharply popping from the field? That is what an authentic example should look like, (exquisite coin btw). Cheap imitation cash will have these blurred borders. There are better imitation cash, and for those different diagnostics.

    Not necessarily sir. I have bought strings of 100 cash with authentic examples for $30. In coins, and especially in Chinese cash, age does not equal value.
