You should take a canvas bag, dump these beautes in, and toss them around a bit because what's a Morgan Dollar without a few "bag marks"?! ... Haha! Nice D.C. Fantasy pieces, Mike. -Brian
Latest Upgrade for Our Kennedy Half Registry Set 1996-D Kennedy Half MS68 PCGS OGH Enjoy! Best Regards, George
Beautiful! Proof, I presume? I'm looking at acquiring my own 1885, but will have to be a much, much lower grade business strike.
I picked this up several days ago and finally photographed it. I purchased it primarily because it has the adopted edge. I have an earlier year with the lettered edge, which grades higher. I would say this has an XF40 obverse and an XF45 reverse. I will move it into a different airtite so the edge can be seen. I just didn't have one at the time. There is some slight toning starting on the obverse and rim.
That's a nice CBH piece you have, would love to see the adopted edge whenever you the opportunity to post it. XF is the grade I generally opt for because you really get a coin with great details and eye appeal, and you feel bad for passing up an AU grade for the money.
Are you now just doing the upgrades on your type set? I distinctly remember your thread displaying your finished 7070. This capped bust is a beautiful addition.
Here is the Buff. I posted about a week ago. Looks nothing like the photos, but I still love it. NGC MS 66
