Any ideas on what this coin is?

I have no ideas what this coin could be, though it seems it would be a medal or something compared to a coin. If you have any ideas on what this is or how much it is worth let me know. Thanks!

probably something cheap put out in year 2000 on 50th anniversary of armed forces day

 

Could also be newer. Maybe for the end of the Vietnam war.

 

Looks to be a 50th anniversary thank-you veterans coin.

 

Vietnam ended in '73 (for the US), that was 38 years ago.

Lol, I just watched a documentary so I get to play Vietnam War Police for a month until I forget!

 

My guess would be something produced in 1995 for the 50th anniversary of the end of WWII. Private issued medal.

Looks like a copper round, not worth much.

not a coin (currency issued by a governments authority).
not a token (non-currency piece offering a credit or service).
