It's never a good idea to use a stock or otherwise false photo for any numismatic item.

Report them. eBay supposedly has a firm policy on copyright ownership. If the photo is from your auction, it will be removed.

Well, you can always tell ebay but they may not do anything about it. Maybe you could just send him a note or maybe send him a link to this thread. :D He definitely snatched your pics and used them but I wonder if he would ever admit it to ebay or whether it matters? good luck

    +1 Report it.

eBay usually acts on such things. Especially with the A25 issues eBay has been paying attention to, they may actually act to remove those images from the listing.

The same thing happened to me. some one had 3 sets listed all with my photos. I reported it and contacted the seller. the seller contacted me back , he apologized and removed it.

the only reason I put up a fuss was when I listed my set ,I clearly stated that the coins in the photo are the ones you will receive, but if my buyer saw the same photos else where it might appear that I am dishonest. other than that It's a compliment .

When that has happened with my images ebay has been good about taking the items down.

I reported it, but I saw this morning that the same seller had another listing using the same pics but he ended it.
    My pics again
x115, I also always put in my listings that the items in the pictures are the coins they will receive. Fortunately this time I wasn't happy with the pics in my unsold auction, so I took two more. Still looks like now I'm going to have to photoscape my id over my pics from now on.

You may want to start using a "watermark" over your images if this happens enough, or at least so it saves you the trouble of contacting eBay when it does occur.

Yes they are. I've had a few listings removed for the same reason. Now if only they would get on the ball about modern counterfeits...

That's funny. Somebody just being lazy. I'm not surprised by this. To tell you the truth, I wouldn't even care on these. All the sets are the same. There aren't many unique, distinguishing factors visible by these photos from one to the next anyway.
