I just got one of these that grandpa sent up with a relative who was coming to visit and it is a really nice set. Anybody else have one? The album and slip cover are of decent quality and the coins are of nice 69 dcam quality. The only thing that keeps em from being 70's imo are the poor quality of the capsules the mint put the coins in. They are not air tight, and of course a couple of the cents have some fibers and such on them. The silver dollar is really nice with an excerpt from the Gettysburg address on the reverse. It also includes a nice pic of lincoln inside the cover. (presumably shot originally by Mathew B Brady, the father of photojournalism), as well as a copy of the Gettysburg address in Lincolns handwriting corrections and all. I am glad grandpa saved me one, and i will cherish it always.

I am thinking of getting a couple sets one for a christmas gift for my dad and one for myself. what is a good price for two sets?
http://www.mintproducts.com/product.php?productid=17975 That's one set, but it seems to be the settled in price of late.......
I was able to buy one from the Mint on release day. I was driven by the hype and glad that I was now. Thought about selling it, decided to keep it. Glad about that, too.
I also bought one directly from the US Mint. It is a lovely set and I have no intention of selling it.
