I'm kind of curious whether you're saving all of these.

Yes I had planned to. A lot of the coins dated 2000 and below were my dad’s. I can hear him sometimes, sell sell sell! Lol. I’m slowly going through them. I just post here and if people would like to look they can. Comment or ask any questions. If I post elsewhere sometimes some are not interested which is very understandable. Why do you ask or wonder? Thanks for looking!

I ask because I wonder about this myself sometimes. My kids are going to find a bunch of coins I saved when I was a kid because I thought they looked interesting, and they'll wrack their brains trying to figure out why I kept them (because I wouldn't keep them if they weren't "valuable", right?), when they're really not worth anything other than face value. I feel like I should put a note in the box that says "spend them", or do it myself.

Well, only you know your children. If you feel they will not research or see if there is any value they may just cash them in. I found dad’s before dates 2000 coins and moms after she passed 2016. State quarters etc. if you have been a member here, you know who to trust and ask about selling because you probably have some that is worth something to someone. I hear my dad sometimes, sell sell sell… you can get this or that for that quarter. Lol! It’s what you think in your gut and heart. I do know the foreign coins, ATB and the states I have to keep for my son. He is a history buff. But to say he would keep all, not sure what their thinking will be. Sorry to babble.
