Rare error or altered coin?

    I think it's real. What part looks suspicious to you?

    I've never seen one that looked like it had a seam, as if it's parts of two coins stuck together. Yea it is a spectacular error, especially for these early Dutch coppers.

    It looks like they use a different type of collar than we do here, which is why the coin was almost cut in 2 by the strike.

    I guess that makes sense why it looks so different and why I have never seen something like it. The price also ended much higher than for similar errors on other types of foreign coins. Must really be an unusual example.
