Please grade this Morgan

    Curious what grade this would get. Sorry about the poor quality. Thanks in advance.

    Same coin one is just lightened a bit.

    Id say ms 63-64 the fields look gorgeous and clean. But unless i saw the coin in hand im not sure..imho

    The chatter on the face makes me think MS63.

    Exactly what I was thinking. Better pics of the obverse would help though.

    Thanks for the replies. Any advise on taking better pics without buying a new camera? Lol. Would this date be worth having it graded?

    Based on the value of a 63 and even a 64, it is not worth having it graded.

    It's not worth slabbing, as Mark says. It's a neat old coin in spite of the fact that there a many like it. Enjoy it like it is.

    I'd say 62, too much rubbing on hair & cheek for 63

    My 2 cents

    I would grade it MS-62 from photo.
    But taking a photo thur holder make it harder to grade.it could be a MS-63+?

    MS63, as mentioned lots of chatter on the cheek which is the focal point for this coin. 1880S is very common in high grade and can be picked up very reasonably already slabbed.
