First off welcoem to the forum. Pictures are to small to tell if its a doubled die..Where are you seeing the doubling on the obverse or reverse and you will want to check out www.lincolncentresource.com and www.coppercoins.com
Thank you for the welcome. I am still getting used to the site and how it works. It's impressive how much information there is on this site. Regarding the size of the coin, I can email you a jpg file or ...the pictures on my thread...when I click two or three times on them, eventually it is the size of my laptap screen. No matter what, thank you for answering my question
Just retake a picture that is more clear then the one you posted..Not sure why you are referring to the size of the coin..
Thanks for responding. The "Liberty" and 1972 look a bit different... I am not sure, that is why I'm asking people with knowledge in this. Thanks again
There are 8 different types of known DDOs for 1972, check this out and see if any look like yours. http://www.lincolncentresource.com/doubledies/doubledies.html As far as I can tell, you coin looks normal however in hand it can appear different. So you may want to take it to a dealer BUT do you research first.
