Hello everyone, another customer at work heard me talking about coins and said about finding a 1901 O morgan dollar in a car he was cleaning. He is thinking about selling it and i told him i may be interested. Im no expert but something seems off about it, i dont know much about them and have only seen 3 that my aunt has in a frame and a few from a dealer. The color of it seems off and the sound it makes as well. Im going to weigh it tomorrow. Here are pics of it. I just wanted everyone opinion of the coin and what you would pay for it. All input is highly welcomed. Thanks Brock :)

Unfortunately, it's the most common of the 1901 Morgans, with over 13 million struck at New Orleans that year.

I'd say G-VG on grade, somewhere in the neighborhood of $35 on value.

My scale only weighs whole grams and it rounds up. It weighed 27g he's willing to sell it for $15 sound like a good buy?

Grab it. Most B&Ms would pay around $23-$25 for it.
