    Oh the irony regarding Leonard. Great write up on the Lords Baltimore Chris. And that Oregon Trail is just gorgeous. :)

    The Alabama half is notable in that it was the first United States coin to depict an actual person living at the time (Governor Kilby) who was not a model.

    I love that coin. Nice pickup Greenie. I like the sun poking out from behind the cloud above Old Swedes Church.

    Been awhile since I've added to the Classic collection. Here are three new ones. I'm slowly closing in on a full type set. (only 7 left!) I do enjoy pulling these classics out and looking them over. I have to say for such a silly event to commemorate the Columbia is a really nice design. Although I love the ship on the Long Island.
