Based on Heritage historical auctions, it looks like the $500 range for MS64 Feuchtwangers. This one is particularly nice, so maybe the $600-$800 range? It looks like the one that Stephanie (coinsarefun) had for sale for $750 on the NGC Forums. Nonetheless, it's a beautiful example. Really stunning! Congrats on the pick-up...if it was impulse, I think the buyers remorse will be short-lived...you will likely fall in love at first sight...
as long as they are nice, i love looking at them, and even when they aren't i still enjoy them a lot!
No No No! Thank you for sharing. My wife wanted me to print one off of yours to sketch. When she is finshed I will have to send it to you you inspired a coin hating woman. Now that's no easy feat!
I would love seeing as many as you want to show.. these are truly exquisite coins and my only problem is I will need a new keyboard from all the drooling.. Anyone have a spare bib?
Well, in that case I'll add a few more.....Thank you all for the comments and the kind words.....Coin Dexter
Simply amazing coins. Who dosen't enjoy a Buffalo ? Mostly uncirculated and toned to boot, but where's the three legger ?
I sold them both, I wish I hadn't as it's hard to find another "nice one" Now-a-daz....The cost is up there and to be honest their WAY over rated, not rare and WAY over priced for what they are....So you might ask me...What are they? It's they are a VERY popular coin and that's it. Everybody know about them and that's the deal, they,re very popular. I'll add another, in time.....Because they're not hard to find...Now the 1921 I showed earlier, that's hard to find!
I too find the Walking Liberty a beautiful coin, one of the nicest the USA has ever minted. I also like the Mexican 1 oz silver Liberty. And I've posted it before, but the 1913 German 3-mark piece "Der König rief..." is also one of my favorite designs. I also like the German 1978 Balthazar Neumann 5 mark piece. I don't think my picture quite does it justice, but at least it shows the design.
Did the mint put somethng special in buffalo nickels to get them to tone like that? Really stunning collection, and super photos.
