Ok, don't ignore my other contest, but here's another one.....prize will be a States Quarter in UNC condition....for each question that is guessed right. (four quarters/prizes to be given) The only people who cannot play the first three questions are those who already know where I went for a late September/beginning of October trip/vacation and why. Sorry, there's two or three that know, I believe. But they can try the last one. 1) WHERE DID I GO (city/town/village/other specific location --- not just the state) (U.S.)? 2) Aside from just being in paradise and clear warm weather, NAME ONE THING I COULD HAVE DONE (and probably did do, but that doesn't matter) while I was sight-seeing there. 3) GUESS WHY I WENT THERE (it was not just to have a vacation....I had a specific purpose). 4) [backstory:] And because I found a branch of a bank I bank at, I of course, got some rolls to roll search (hopefully to get some good ones since I don't usually encounter all of the modern coins in my part of the world, natch) and I brought them back on the airplane. Of course the TSA didn't appreciate that I had those, since they then had to open my bags and confirm what I had. They really thought it was weird, and kept asking me how much laundry I expected to do. I, of course, thought they were weird, since it was none of their business, and I didn't expect to have to use any of the coins at the laundry.[question:] HOW MANY ROLLS OF COINS DID I BRING BACK WITH ME? (you don't have to be specific on each, but I had Quarters, Dimes, and Cents, and all but two were yet to be searched). Lets give this contest about 10 days to run. And tie-breaker, of course, is pulling names out of a hat.
1.somewhere on the shore of florida 2. surfing 3. it was all expenses paid 4. 21 rolls (lucky number)
1. San Diego, California 2. Sailing 3. I too say job, (can I repeat?) 4. Hmm, you brought back 12 rolls... Thanks for the contest!
Anyone can repeat, but if there are more than one correct answer, then I break the tie by picking a name.
1. Los Angeles, CA 2. You could have gone to the Happiest Place On Earth - Disneyland. 3. You went to visit relatives 4. 20 rolls (did you find anything good yet?)
I think you went to La Jolla, CA. Maybe went to Disneyland. Went to attend a coin show. And I think about 40 rolls of coins came back with you ? ??????????????????? lol gary
1. Cape Cod, MA 2. Freedom Trail (Boston) 3. To look at the area for a potential move there 4. 25 rolls
I am loving these answers, even though some of them are completely wrong! Keep it coming....the more answers there are for me to pick from (as to the correctness of the answer) the better this contest will be.
Las Vegas, Nevada to get married, and before you lost all of your money playing slots, you went to the Bank of America and purchased 20 rolls. NOTE: I would have guessed you would purchase more rolls, but since you already said that you searched all but two, if I had been your new spouse, I would have been a little irritated that you spent more time searching rolls than doing something else that newlyweds usually do.
