This one came today from England. $17 shipped. I'm really happy with it!

Small horse on the reverse of a small coin. This one is a touch smaller than a 10th oz eagle.

Not a Van Gogh but a Picasso

I should of known Picasso. Hence why I am a coin collector not a art collector right :p Even kinda looks like Salvador Daeli but Picasso for sure. Was he the designer for that one?

Picasso didn't design the medal. His name is for the artwork only. The designer's name is along the rim.

I think it's safe to say the Lithuanian horse image has stood the test of time? ;)

I don't know too much about this medal. Most I have seen are listed as being silver, but mine doesn't weigh what they are listed as. Thus, I'm kind of at a loss.

Can you tell me the name of the designer which is on the obverse at about 6 o'clock along the rim? I can't make it out.

"A. Lindberg" is just below the bust.

The text "SPORRONG & CO Z" is on the edge.
