What Do you think??? Here a new 1971-S,I picked out of a box of 100 Blue Pack Eisenhower that maybe a eagle clashed obverse. Its in the mail to Wexler I will post his remarks once they get back.there has been not editing of photo at all+ this is the same photo Wexler seen before I sent it. now here the coin:kewl:
I have 5 Ike dollars 3 1972 About MS65 1 1974 About MS65-68 1 1776-1976 AU55-MS63 Grading is a guestamite through pictures
I think the nicest you have posted MIGHT be a MS64. Definitely not a 65. A '72 in 65 is a big money coin. Not moon money, but big money.
Ah alright thanks there wasnt very good lighting in the picture so it made everything look darker not sure if that matters at all kinda new to this all lol
I can tell from the scuff marks and chatter, as well as the lack of luster. A 65 ike will have pretty nice luster, from what I've seen. A 66, booming. Never handled a 67 or better circulation business strike in hand.
This one has some interesting toning, with a target pattern on the reverse and deep golds on the obverse. I picked this up on Teletrade about a year ago.
