I've had this coin for a long time. It was coming from a collection of coins either from my mother or my father. I've been trying to find out the details about it. What I've found out on the front of the coin were "Schweizerische Kreditanstalt - Creduti Svizzero". There were, if I'm correct, 2 numericals just between the upper and lower tags, on the side of the coin. Looking at the back portion, it says "Swiss Credit Bank - Credit Suisse". It has 3 stars on each side of the coin and on the bottom, it says 92.5. Beside it, has a small print which I cannot depict XD. Anyway, this is a silver coin as with the 92.5 marking. But, I'm curious about the history of the coin itself. There were no dates printed, only some markings that I can't depict. I've tried searching the net for the same coin, and I can't seem to find a picture of it. Can anyone care to help? I'm hoping to find out the history of this coin and after that, I guess, sell it perhaps XD.
Educate me... would a medal have a ribbon and/or some sort of clasp so you could place it around your neck or through your clothing? Otherwise, how would you properly display it?
Some medals are not meant to be worn. Your medal likely originally came in a case or box that was subsequently lost.
You might try googling it. Start with the words and inscriptions on the coin/medal/medallion, and look in "images", "books" as well as on the "web". Many times (but not always) that will give you information on what you seek.
