What great photos. How is it that you guys can get such great close up shots, even with a cell phone than I can get with a Fine pic digital with macro ?
I had the privilege of meeting the designer on several occasions, including at the 1998 ANA convention in Portland. He worked to get coinage redesign bills passed in Congress, and he had a lot of support in the numismatic community for his dollar designs. At least one of these designs was among the 6 finalists that were considered by the Dollar Coin Design Advisory Committee, which ultimately decided to go with the Sacagawea designs.

I would put this at VF-25 all day. The liberty does not have to completely show to make this grade. The rest of the details will bump it to vf-25
