I got this one-ounce silver medallion struck by the Alaska Mint at a coin club auction last night. Just thought it was pretty neat and the price was right.

 

Speaking of Alaska, here is a neat silver dollar-size token that circulated in the Fairbanks area in 1959. I recently found this in a grab bag of foreign coins.

 

got me an ungraded IHC bought it today looks to be ms64-65ish

NGC MS64. Its my first commemorative! YAY!!!

 

I was given one of those coins once when I was in junior high. I took it to school to show a friend, put it in a box in my locker, and at the end of the day, it and the box were gone.

Oh man, I hate that! The Canadian silver halves are stupid cheap considering the low mintages, and there are lots of neat varieties too!

 

Should be at my door Saturday or Monday, I'd guess...

Thank you ,1959 68 cameo dimes are hard to find on ebay so I juimped on it .
I have a toned one already .
In the pic the black background makes it look so good .
