Auction Central..................but you have to be a paid member ($39 or up) for prices realized. Hi all, Last night we released our newest research tool: NGC Auction Central! You can now search upcoming auctions and prices realized for all US coins from different auction companies--all in one place. There are also informative volume charts broken out by category and specific coin, and top 10 prices realized tables for every category. We are working today to get NGC Auction Central fully integrated with the NGC Coin Explorer, released last month. Combined, these two tools should help you make more informed buying and selling decisions. I think the upcoming auctions search is particularly useful. Over the next week or two we will continue to make improvements to the NGC Auction Central with a few new features and data from additional auction companies. Check it out at www.ngccoin.com/auctions!
They do, but I don't use one so I'm not real sure what functions it provides. Would you like me to ask? Chris
I subscribed a while back at the 39 dollar level and this is a nice addition.. cpm9ball, sure, I do believe they have a cert number check app but I didn't know if they have or plan for something better adapted to mobile devices.
I asked Max if they have any plans to inetgrate this into their mobile app, but of course, it's the weekend. Chris
I got this reply from Max this morning......... Chris -- We have a couple of mobile features that we are working on now (look for them in a month or two!) so these will take priority, but we are definitely talking about releasing the NGC Coin Explorer and NGC Auction Central for smartphones. No immediate plans though.
Aah, thanks for asking and posting the reply. It would be a nice thing to have when comparing NGC versus PCGS graded items when out poking around shops... Thanks again...
I like how the NGC coin explorer is progressing. When I posted the NGC Explorer link back in August, very few had anything good to say about it: http://www.cointalk.com/t190806/
Agreed, it is getting better as time is passing and expect it will continue to add more and more detailed information. So far, it is worth the money in my opinion...
