Sorry for the post. I just deleted it. I figured this issue out. The seller had two 1830 CBH's for sale with similar toning and he accidentally swapped photos on the 2 coins. No wonder the photos looked different (orig photo vs. coin in hand) ... they were different coins! The top photo is the small 0 variety and the coin that I got was the large 0 variety. Well, I'm no expert, but the top photo was obviously "messed with" or "juiced" to sharpen details and hide any imperfections. It is definitely the same coin.
I'm not so sure. Look at the toning pattern and *where* the coin is toned in the first picture. Compare it to the second. While the pattern is similar, the placement of the toning is different. Also the "0's" are different like the OP stated.
The image has been manipulated, but those are definitely not the same coin. Look at the toning on and around the cap.
