1984 penny Error coin

    1. Hi, I came across this coin recently and it just looks and feels different. I admit I've been wrong before but this one I feel pretty good about. Any knowledge would be appreciated. Thank you

    Looks like someone tried to strip the copper plating off the reverse. There are a few places where the plating is still visible.
    Post mint damage, if the coin was struck without plating on the reverse, the devices would be a lot sharper, IMO

    It would help if you pointed out what you are seeing.
    I see a cheap Zincoln cent that has been circulated.
