Anyone order the Gettysburg 5oz. P Mint coin and how many did you order? I just ordered one for my collection. I still like the series, although a little pricy, the low mintage should keep the price up there even if/when silver tanks.

So, if silver crashes back down to $6/oz., how do you think this will affect the secondary market for already issued 5oz. P Mint ATB’s?

    rickmp Frequently flatulent.

I ordered two. I'm building two complete sets.

I truly believe that silver will never go much lower than $35, and if I'm wrong and it does, I know it won't stay that low for very long.
I also believe that the secondary market will also always be somewhat higher than original issue price.

That’s a scary number of posts! Lol

I don’t have a crystal ball, but I believe the economy will recover and thrive again, just like it always does. When it does, silver could very well return to it lowest levels, since the run up has been based on fear in this poor economy. It’s also possible that at low prices for silver, the demand for the P 5oz’ers will increase dramatically and the mint will oblige, making the early issue mintages very low in comparison, thus keeping the numismatic value near where they are now or higher. Anyway, that’s just one possible scenario.
