Oh I thought they did my mistake. And that's a great box of dimes!

 

3 is the most I've ever had in a box of dimes. Solid!

 

2 boxes of halves produced 3 40% and 1 90%. I'm considering this a good day because I have been running cold for a while. Has everyone else noticed a drop off in their boxes or is it just my bad luck?

 

I think most of us are going through a slow period right now.

 

Just did $30 in BWR and found my first silver war nickel!! Granted it is not much but its still awesome to find any silver in rolls

 

Bank said Dunbar didnt send my two boxes of halves today that they ordered for me. i hope they are not reducing what orders they fill for halves for banks. Or maybe Dunbar is running low on filling box orders for banks. Been on hold w/ Dunbar for half an hr now trying to figure this mess out. If they do run out of halves, do they get them from the Fed?

Ace, have you ever pulled a silver half from a WF box? I don't think I ever have.

 

Merc - Nope. I only searched 2 boxes from WF since they were telling me I'd have to pay a fee. There are too many banks around here to get a fee charged on halves. Forget that...plus if they don't produce it's a no-brainer.

Have they threatened to charge you at all?

Box 1 - 1 x Silver Rosie
Box 2 - 2 x Silver Rosie
Box 3 - 2 x Silver Rosie and 1 x 1936 Merc

$150 in dimes=6 Rosies
Box of halves=1964, 1967 and another AU 1969d

 

Nope, I'm on a first-name basis with the manager. Think I'll have 'em order a few more boxes and if still nothing, I'll ask them to stop and just order extra dimes for me.

 

Wells is my dump bank( 5 locations). I tried ordering halves through them and wasn't successful.

(10) boxes of halves today:3-90% and 6-40%

I have (19) more to pick up tomorrow.

 

Box of nickels, 2 wars.

Half a bag, 1 war, and about 10 bucks face pre-'60's. Someone picked out all the wars. Did find about $2 worth of BU's though, including a 5FS '48, so not too bad.

4 boxes of dimes ($1,000) - SKUNKED!

 

went to pick up my order today and found out the teller ordered an extra box of halves for me! bad part is i was not expecting it so i only had 1000 on me, so i got 2 boxes of dimes and a box of halves. think i been skunked on my last 5 boxes of halves, was happy to break the streak today

Halves: 2 x 69-D, 1 x 67 that looks immaculate besides lines running thru it

Box o' dimes 1: skunk

Box o' dimes 2: '63-D roosie

Tommorrow going to grab the other box of halves, hopefully they yield the same or better than the box today!

Halves are nice too.

Box of dimes from yesterday - 2 Roosies (52' & 54')
They are pretty tarnished and no luster, but with the week I was having I needed that box.
I'm at $950 searched for those two Roosies, that's challenging. Got to take the bad with the good.

BWR...going to stop in today and see if I can get rolls from the same box.

 

Did you all see the price of silver drop $3.00 today along with the 300 point drop on the Dow? Wouldn't it be nice to see silver go down some more so we could buy lower and weed out any non-hardcore CRH'ers? Then ideally it would rebound.
