Hey guys its tcl here to give you a LATE results of the Philly Coin Show!

The show was great! It was overwhelming at first, but it was Awesome in the end! There were less dealers then I thought. The dealers the I dealt with were great! I got a nice 1910 wheat XF for $3 from one dealer, my first show purchase! I got two 1957 proof and a 2000-S cent proof for $0.75 each, a free 1906 V nickel and 1928-D, and a 1883 no cents Liberty Nickel. The last I got the most coins, an $11 1859 Indian, a 1909 wheat (Already have the 09 VDB), and a 1916-S wheat. Since I was there the first day there were a lot of dealers paying LOADS of money for coins. I also saw that there were dealers who were specializing in $80 - $1000 coins and were not the type for kids 9-13. So they didn't get my business, too rich for my blood. I also went to Kids Korner and got to get to grab a scoopful of coins. I got a I think BU 1963 canadian penny. I also got a 1982 cent set because I knew that it is a CENT not a penny. All in all, it was a good show. Less coins for my 1857-present cent collection and 1883-present nickel collection! Don't have a camera so that is why this post has no graphics. :(

Since I'm a spy I can not confirm my age, but I can say I'm between 7-13.

I am glad you had a good time! I know you are in a certain price range, but I would also advise you to walk around these shows and simply look at all of the material for sale. Looking at authentic coins is by far the best way I know to learn how to spot fake ones, and also the best way to elarn how to grade. See what a BU-AU-XF-VF looks like in all of the different series.

Yeah, I still remember my first show 30+ years ago. Pretty overwhelming and cool!

I could'nt sound like I'm texting if I wanted to.... I never have, and I don't have the slightest clue of the popular "lingo" LOL

...and we appreciate it. We are not all old here, but clear grammar and not text shorthand just makes it easier to communicate. :)

Yeah, I've seen some users use this and I'm pretty sure it's not text shorthand.

Sorry, I am just laughing since you signed this "LOL" probably the most overused texting lingo there is. :) To be fair, it was internet shorthand long before texting was even invented. I was "lol"ing in the late 80's.

    It sucked.

Didn't find anything I really wanted. Not many, if any, earlier mercs on the bourse.
