most of the coins I buy get resold to coin shops. I have to buy stuff below market value to succeed. This coin looked AG to me with damage on reverse so I don't think I would have made any $ on a resale.
I've seen a lot worse selling 40-50 at auction or even more BIN.. getting anything older then about 1825 for under 29.99 with a clean date is not so easy but then most of the coins in the $20 LC set should have sold for considerably more then i paid for em but now I'm down to the tougher dates so have to be a little less picky to find em in the price range lol Most of the set can be seen here.. hoping to update it again for the new year and add a half dozen or more coins to the gallery https://www.cointalk.com/media/albums/the-2020-20-large-cent-set.1855/
