Nice $10 Steve. I need a $10 silver cert for the collection sometime soon.

Ron, I noticed most 1928 funnybacks have been going up in price lately. Maybe now is the time for me to look for one in Unc condition.

I picked up a of Gem '28B for $79, Unc '28A for $59, and just got another 28B (Fine) in the mail for $20. All raw from Ebay and a little on the highend in my opionion, however I saw a couple raw Gems sale last weekend for $200 bucks! So prices on these are still in a state of disarray... What ever you do AVIOD THE WEEKENDS on Ebay! The best condition/cost 1928 Funny Backs are coming from the higher grades 60+ in raw of coarse...

With 6 print runs (640,000 each) printed over a year ago, I don't understand why these are so hard to find.

Congrats on the cool error note pickup. I have yet to get one of these errors, and am glad that I wasn't bidding against you this time! :)

Love the errors! I've become fascinated with them this year and I think when I can afford to, buy a bunch more in the next year. Too bad I can never find any in circulation - that would be awesome!

Clay, you always find some nice graded stuff. Mind if I ask where you do most of your purchasiing? Local dealer, or geared more towards on-line purchases?

I wouldn't want to tell you how much time every week I spend looking for the next note to buy...

One more goal attained. I wanted an example (4-subject sheet) of every denomination Star sheet available from the BEP. I have them all now, $1*, $2*, $5*, $10*, $20*, and now the $50.
