I enlarged the pictures a couple of notches on my computer, and so far the lettering on the reverse looks a little funny.
The world peace is worn off on a good grade coin, the tiara is funky looking, the points are flat and it looks like its the wrong shape. The words on the rev look like they were struck thru grease. I wouldn't go within 200 feet of that coin
That "luster" looks an awful lot like what I saw on the Chinese fake Walker I got from eBay. The seller's moved a lot of stuff with good feedback, and he's been on for a long time. Of course, the guy who sold the fake to me had an even longer history, and even more positive feedback -- and he was selling fakes by the fistful.
That's definitely a Chinese Fake. I have no doubts at all simply because of the worn off Peace and the abundance of apparent luster. The two just do not go hand in hand.
I'm no Peace dollar expert, but even I can tell that a coin that worn on the reverse should NOT be that shiny. I definitely don't know enough to say it's a fake, but if it's not, it's been polished for sure.
