In the last 2 weeks I have got 18-20 Brinks boxes(mix of H,D,Q) and I'd be lucky to pull 1 silver every other box, anyone else see that? Although I have had good luck with one H string & sons box and BWR H's.

Today my luck changed a little. Dime box was junk, but the box of halves gave up

10 cwr's of halves... nothing. 4 rolls quarters... nothing. 4 rolls dimes... nothing. Picked up 34 ikes. One teller showed me a 1986? statue of liberty silver dollar someone had brought in. She was keeping it though. It was a bit beat up. I offered $5... no deal.

My first box of dimes (BWR): 1 x 1959 P! It's not much, but it beats a skunk and I'm happy. :)

This isn't roll searching but i was reading past pages on this thread and saw someone say something about the 1914-d penny being worth a lot of money. Checked online and sure enough its on ebay for upwards of 500 dollars. Well my grandmother just gave me 2 books of wheat pennys shes been saving since 1964 and i thought i would check them and see if there was anything rare...Theres a 1914-d in there. almost crapped my self. It's brown but looks like its in good condition (most of the detail is still in lincon's hair) Just how big a find is this? I love you grandma.

    Moonshine ....................

You may want start a new thread for this if you are looking for opinions on it's grade. You'll have to get a better closeup pics of the coin including the reverse. Be VERY careful when getting the coin out of the album. Put it in a 2x2 after taking your photos. You may want to consider wearing gloves when handling it to avoid getting the oils from your skin on it.

That's a decent 14-d, and a nice grandma! But yes, put it in it's own thread and you will have people to help grade it.

    I did a box of halves yesterday.....1 40%er.

I agree with merc....been a crappy week or two for me as well.

Called a bank that i've had some luck with in the past today and they said they had $30 worth of halves. So, I decided to stop by on my way to pick up a box from another bank. Very glad to did.

Teller said they have F and Liberty written on them is that good :)

All in all 12 liberties and 28 franklins.
