I kind of took a risk on these, but if they are real then there's at least two in there that I want.If thre fake I can always return them.

I saw that auction sir, it ended last night or this morning right? Those appear real, I looked at it, but the other auction he had at least the large copper was a fake. It was so low I almost bought it just for my black cabinet, since it was attractive. The only one I would take a look at very closely is the bottom left.

That may be fake. The only design I can find for that is a 60 asses, which is supposed to be gold. The bottom right I found fakes for, but that one matched none of the dies I have seen so far.

The first one looks fine, the second one the same, but I think those are also highly faked. I'm pretty much just interested in the second one anyways, so if that's real I'll probably just keep the lot.

    thanks for the help.

Yeah, I don't think I should have bought this lot. lol. My impulsive side strikes again...and I even questioned authenticy before I put in a bid.

yup. I can't believe I actually fell for these. Shows how little I know and how much I take for granted coins are genuine without checking. I need to do a better job at that.

If the seller thinks I'm paying for these, he'll have to rethink that over.

When I have doubts I just go with my gut and avoid it or ask some of the folks here who have been collecting longer. Ive only been burned once but wasnt on ebay & I got a refund.

It happens to everyone, especially late at night. :)

Like I said I was looking at the guys auctions too, I recognized some fakes and that should have been enough to scare me away, but I was trying to talk myself into maybe some of the others weren't.

We all want deals man, right?

Nah. The seller won't send an agreement through ebay to end the contract, he just told me not to pay...
